MICROBLADING in Dubai

MICROBLADING IN DUBAI AT ESTEEM MEDICAL CLINIC

What is microblading in Dubai?

Eyebrow embroidery sometimes referred to as Microblading in Dubai, is a service we provide at Esteem Medical Clinic. Using a very small blade, pigments are deposited into the epidermis. We are altering color more closely to the skin’s surface than with earlier methods, and the strokes appear more accurate and sharp.

Every four weeks, all semi-permanent treatments, including microblading of the eyebrows, often require a touch-up. To increase longevity and balance out faded/disappeared spots, we strongly advise getting the touch-up done. A superficial, semi-permanent procedure for sparse, over-plucked, over-waxed, or thinning brows is microblading.

It works wonders to fill in brows, define contour, hide scars and gaps, and disguise scars. For persons with extremely few or no brow hairs, it makes it possible to create brows that look natural. Both men and women can benefit from this treatment. In manual Microblading (Semi-Permanent Eyebrows), the needle is three times thinner than in machine Microblading, resulting in extremely fine, crisp hair strokes that do not blur after healing.

The procedure of Microblading in Dubai

The skin care specialist will apply an anesthetic cream to reduce discomfort. The treatment involves scratching the surface of your skin to implant the pigment for a long-lasting effect.

Before the treatment start, our specialist will draw your brows with a pencil to ensure that you are happy with their shape. Then the next step will be trimming the length, and waxing/tweezing the extra hair. Once you are ready, the process of creating your new beautiful brows will begin by making tiny, hair-like strokes using a tool with thin needles and then inserting the pigment into the epidermis, giving you realistic-looking brows that don’t wash off.

How long does a Microblading in Dubai session last?

The total process should take between 60 and 90 minutes for the initial session of the best Microblading in Dubai. The client’s brows will be styled and shaped by the brow technician during this appointment. The choice of pigment color comes next. We start the process as soon as the client is happy with the options. The client must return for a follow-up appointment to receive any minor touch-ups that may be required. Following the first Microblading treatment, a second session is performed four to six weeks later. This class will last between 45 to 60 minutes.

Is Microblading in Dubai painful?

The pain level for the procedure is considered mild to none. We use a strong anesthetic liquid to numb the pain. Some clients are sleeping during the treatment! Everyone responds differently to anesthetic; depending on the client, the feeling of the procedure has been described from light cat scratches to not feeling anything. After the procedure, redness and slight swelling in the area are normal. Clients describe the area as feeling similar to a light sunburn.

How do you choose the shape?

We choose a shape and style together. Our technicians have the skills and tools to draw the eyebrows that will suit your facial features We do not use stencils, and everything is bespoke! If you have an eyebrow shape in mind – please bring a couple of pictures and the technician will copy them on your face.

Please note:

If the technician sees that the shape you picked WILL NOT suit your face, she will let you know that, but at the end of the day, you will be the one wearing the eyebrows, so our technicians are instructed to follow your wishes whatever they may be. If you are going against the technician’s advice, you may need to sign a form confirming that YOU picked the eyebrow shape and you release us from any responsibility.

Will my eyebrows fade?

Yes, because the pigments used in the service are natural, plant-based pigments, they are semi-permanent. But, unlike tattoo ink, they will fade true to color. As your brows fade, they will look soft and natural. And because the pigment is only placed in the outermost layer of skin, the pigment will not bleed outside of the exact place where it was deposited. This means no blurry blue/grey/green/orange brows.

How long does it take to heal?

The eyebrow area will be slightly red after the procedure and the color will appear very dark. This is normal and part of the healing process. The color will fade by up to 40% as it heals, In the following days, the eyebrows will continue to be dark, and you will notice slight scabbing. DO NOT pick at the scabs as this may damage the skin and the outcome of the microbladed area. The eyebrows will lighten up in color as it heals. No downtime is required after the microblading procedure.

It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about one month for the color to fully set in. You’ll notice the color is very light right after two weeks after healing; the skin will have an opaque milky-looking quality to it. This is known as the milk skin and is common in tattooing. This is due to the tissue still healing from the inside out even though the surface of the skin is healed. The act color will reveal itself once healed.

Is the touch up session necessary?

We HIGHLY recommend it! A touch-up session after 4-6 weeks is necessary as everyone heals differently, and the outcome will vary. Certain areas may not pick up during the first session and will need to be refilled, Pigment color may need to be adjusted, and brow thickness and more strokes can be added. Individuals with oily skin often require a deeper shade during the touch-up session as the oils tend to lighten the pigment. More than one touch-up might be needed for individuals with very oily skin. Most importantly, your touch-up session is when we refine your brows to ensure it looks perfect and retains their color for the whole year!

How long does Microblading last?

Since Microblading pigments are not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional tattoos, the area will naturally fade over time. Microblading typically lasts 12-18 months, depending on skin type (normal, oily, dry), and age (youthful/mature). Skincare routine will also affect the lasting effect of the pigment: patients who tan, or use products with AHA or Glycolic Acid will have Microblading fade faster as our skin will resurface more quickly. Each individual’s color retention within the skin will vary. To maintain the fresh brow look, a touch-up is suggested around every 12 months. Clients can let the microbladed area fade over time, but please note a very slight shadow may remain.

Can I Combine Microblading With Other Treatments?

During our consultation, let our staff know that you are interested in addressing a variety of skin or body goals. We can design personalized programs whether it is a LPG Treatment, IV Drip Therapy, or Hair Loss Treatment, featuring a holistic selection of beauty and wellness services.

What are the Risks and complications of Microblading in Dubai?

We take all proper precautions for a safe session by using sterilized equipment, new needles, and a sanitized environment. Should clients follow our pre and post-care instructions, there should be minimal risks or complications. Although allergic reactions to our hypoallergenic pigments are highly unlikely (in over 3000 treatments done – we never reacted), it could be possible for certain individuals. We suggest a pigment patch test (5-7 days before the treatment date) for individuals who have high skin sensitivities or are sensitive to topical makeup products gold, silver, and nickel hair dyes.

What if I do not like it?

As with all cosmetic procedures, individuals should not make their choices lightly. We always recommend clients do their research, understand the procedure, and compare different artists’ work and portfolios when making their decisions. Our brow technicians will do their utmost to shape and style the eyebrows to the client’s satisfaction before the procedure. Every effort will be made to achieve an even appearance, but please realize our faces are never perfectly symmetrical. Uneven appearance can be fixed during the touch-up session. Pigment discoloration and color correction can also be fixed during the touch-up session. Microbladed brows will eventually fade away if no additional touch-ups are done.
